Updated December 6th, 2016. You may have heard that report cards are changing. In the November newsletter you’ll see a more in-depth discussion about Reporting. This year at CPE teachers will be using a variety of methods, such as student self-assessment and FreshGrade. Parents at CPE will engage in student-led conferences for their children in late November, and April this year (along with parent/teacher interviews on January 25 & 26). In both late November and April, a written, progress profile for each child will be given to parents as well as the student-led conference. A final, written learning profile will be issued for each student at the end of the school year.
Xmas Concert – Food Donation
Students and staff are preparing excitedly for this year’s production. We are all very grateful to Mr. Redding who is coordinating most classes. Remember that this year’s concert is Monday, December 12th. We will have a dress rehearsal at 8:35 on that morning for those unable to attend the evening performance. The evening performance will start at 6:30pm (doors open at 6). Please be sure to arrive early. The concert will be about one hour long. Admission by Food Bank donation will be gratefully accepted at the door. We hope to see you there!
