CPE November 2025 Newsletter

Nov 02, 2025

Dear CPE Families,

As the seasons change and the cooler weather settles in, we are reminded of the importance of being prepared for all kinds of mountain weather! Please ensure your children come to school dressed warmly with jackets, mitts, gloves, and outdoor boots or shoes. Having a pair of indoor shoes at school also helps keep our hallways and gymnasium clean and safe for everyone.

October has been a busy and rewarding month at CPE. Thank you to all the families who participated in our Goal-Setting Conferences—these conversations are an important part of helping students take ownership of their learning and identify their next steps for growth.

Our school-wide focus this fall has been on the Core Competencies of Personal and Social Responsibility. Through the Secwépemc story of the Swan, students have been reflecting on what it means to be responsible, respectful, and caring members of our school community. We are so proud of the many students who demonstrate these RAISE values each day, both in and out of the classroom.

As we look ahead to November, we are excited to see the continued curiosity, kindness, and learning that fill our school each day.

Warm regards,
Tammy Tomm
Principal
